This fitting is made in the USA and is a slightly coarser thread than the standard BSP thread. Thiors 90 Degree Elbow is a US Male to a BSP female which allows you then to use your normal BSP or Hoselink fittings on the other end of the elbow. This 90 degree elbow also eliminates the hose protruding straight from the connection causing strain on the fitting or trip a hazard!
